Borrowing principles of design and construction common to architecture and aerospace industries, Shell are hollow lightweight structures capable of carrying loads far in excess than their own weight implies. The aesthetic is derived from the spaceframe principle of construction which affords minimal material use to achieve unmatched strength.

Shell explores the theme of export without transport. Production techniques employed are in common use around the world and can theoretically be harnessed to produce the product for local markets thereby  reducing or eliminating transport of the final piece. Currently the piece is built in Sydney.

Shell is a fabricated to order product.
Lead time for fabrication is approximately 6 weeks.
