Who we are

We first met in 2004 while studying Industrial Design at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.

In 2007 we started working together on a series of projects aimed at testing and solidifying our design ideals.

In 2008 we launched Nicholls+Scott with ‘Shell’, our first range of ‘fabricated to order’ products.
Together and individually our work has been exhibited widely, received awards and been published in design and mainstream publications.

Today all design, production and management responsibilities of Nicholls+Scott are shared equally.

Greg Scott

Following studies in Industrial Design, Greg has worked for Sydney design consultants as well as top surf hardware manufacturer FCS.

Ross Nicholls

Trained both in Graphic and Industrial Design, Ross has worked for leading Perth design firms and legendary Central Coast surfboard manufacturer Nirvana. Ross divides time between Nicholls+Scott and teaching aspects of Industrial Design at UNSW.
